An introduction to the Rebecca Hart Project website would be incomplete without a review of the games section which features a few games all with a musical theme. These are usually played online mainly for fun purposes. Some of the featured games include Gig Racer, Musical Lantern, Punk O Matic, My Dancing Queen, Scratch Simulator and Interactive Boogy.

In the Gig Racer game, the player is required to provide quick guidance for the band so that it can make it fast to the venue where it is holding a gig. Modeled upon a racing game, the objective is to transport individual singers on a motorcycle while trying to overtake a coach that is carrying the musical instruments. There are different skill levels of the game, one for professionals and a simpler one for beginners.

Musical Lantern is another superb game that relies on rhythm and tempo as one travels through a haunted castle where they must make their escape using their dancing moves and knowledge of music. Apart from surviving inside this haunted mansion, one has also to keep dancing and maintain rhythm when coming out of the confinement.

In Punk O Matic, the demo composer enables a player to create their own rock track by mixing the various elements to create a harmonious tune. The demo allows the creator to delete an unsuccessful attempt and start afresh by clicking on the ‘New’ icon. One exciting part of this composition is that one has the rare chance to see the distortion in the faces of various band members that they make when performing their music.

My Dancing Queen and Interactive Boogy are some of the dancing interactive games on offer. The trick is to time the moves provided in the tool bar with those of the character that you are controlling when teaching them how to dance. If the moves coincide with those suggested by the tool bar, the crowd cheers the player. Many misses on the other hand leads to lots of booing.
